Use two straws to create a fine mist water spray | Pressure | Physics

A high speed flow can create a low pressure zone that sucks up a liquid. This is demonstrated in this video, where the air blowing across the open end of a straw immersed in water creates a low pressure zone, causing the liquid to push itself up through the straw. When this liquid meets the blast of air, it breaks up into a fine spray.
