Knitting with Ribbing Stitch | Joanne’s Stitch Pattern

www.joannesweb.com.
This is a type of ribbing (stretchy knitting) many of Joanne’s students call ‘Joanne’s Stitch’
It’s a pattern of a multiple of 4 + 1

(example: 16+1)
2k 2p 2k 2p 2k 2p 2k 2p 1k

You do this every row and that’s it!

We’ve made so many cowls and scarves for friends with this stitch because it’s super easy to make and with bulky yarn and big needles you can get it done in no time.
Not only that, but it always has a beautiful weight.
