Don’t throw out those plastic water bottles. UPCYCLE them into colorful wind spinners for the yard. This craft is so easy our littlest crafter participated. Items needed for this plastic bottle craft are:
• Plastic Water Bottles (small & thin bottles for kids or larger bottles for adults)
• Permanent Colored Sharpie Markers
• Scissors

STEPS TO CREATE COLORFUL WIND SPINNERS USING PLASTIC BOTTLES:
STEP 1: Remove the label from the plastic water bottle.
STEP 2: Start coloring your plastic bottle with the Permanent Sharpie Markers. (It’s important that the markers are permanent. Otherwise the ink will smear on the plastic bottle). We thought the coloring in a vertical pattern was more visually interesting, but experiment!
STEP 3: Puncture the upper part of the water bottle with your scissors and cut in a spiral pattern.
STEP 4: Admire your work and hang on in the front or back yard!
