Step 1: Gather Supplies

Obtain basic scissors, clear tape, wire edged ribbon, tissue paper and wrapping paper. Customize your wrapping to the holiday and your color and pattern preferences. Make sure your wrapping paper and tissue paper is large enough to cover your present. Step 2: Prepare Wrapping Supplies

Roll out your wrapping paper flat on your work surface with the inside facing up. Place your tissue paper on top of the wrapping paper, then cut your wrapping paper about an inch to two inches larger than your tissue paper along all sides. Step 3: Wrap and Decorate

Take two opposite corners of your wrapping paper and bring them together above the present to form a triangle shape. Take the other two corners and bring them to the center with your other paper points. Locate the present and cinch your paper with your hands above the top of your present. Cut a length of your wire edged ribbon and wrap it around the cinched area of your wrapping paper. Tie a double knot to secure the ribbon. Tie a bow with the loose ribbon ends.
