For a cheap garden/plant “mister” you can get an adjustable sprayer at a “dollar store”. A sprinkler is more like the natural rain effect on the plants, but the mister is important just the same for many reasons. Note, generally a sprinkler or mister wont deliver enough water for the soil in the garden, but they are good for the upper plants, and surface of the garden.
I made a second bottle sprinkler with the holes in the bottles bottom, about 4 holes. I can then loosen the cap a bit which acts to control the flow of the water, basically on and off only. This method seems a bit better/easier to use. You don’t have to make, and hold your finger over the air-pressure hole since the bottles cap will be used as this control valve. First open the cap and fill the plastic bottle up with water, then put the cap back on. Turn the bottle over and go to the garden to water it. Turn the bottle over and loosen the cap to water the garden.
I have a new vid up for a watering can for small fragile seedlings and for using minute amounts of water.
