When packaging and transporting important items like medication you want to be sure that the container will neither prematurely open nor be tampered with by anyone other then the end user. This is why LAContainer offers tamper evident shrink bands for select container sizes, so you can have the most secure packaging for your products!
Shrink bands from LAContainer are made out of a clear polyvinyl chloride plastic that when heated down creates a strong plastic band around the lid of a container.
Shrink bands are available in 9 different sizes ranging in size from 35mm to 136mm in lay flat width. These nine sizes are made to fit all of our Lacons hinged lid plastic containers and Squeezetops child resistant vials. With this, select sizes of Lavials, Microvials and Flex-A-Top plastic containers can also be used with the shrink bands.
Most shrink bands sizes come with a SVP strip. The SVP strip or single vertical perforation strip allows the shrink band to be easily removed by the end user.
To apply shrink bands all you have to do is place the band over the lid of the container and use the heat gun available on our website to shrink the band so it fits tightly over the lid of the container. Please be careful while applying heat bands and use the lowest heat setting on the gun in a well-ventilated area.
