This is the first 4 layers of an eventually very substantial curiosity piece that i am building as a learning project. I want to see just how lossy glass plate caps are & how good i can get one operating using the bull in a china shop method of massive amounts of power & making some modifications as i go along using some modern materials to reduce losses. I will eventually use it on a rather large vintage styled Tesla coil when i have the capacitor operating stable with no heat issues & fully constructed..
