GLASS GROWLER PRESSURE TEST

There are a number of ways that a bottle can fail when subjected to the forces of internal pressure. Caps can leak, crack or be completely blown off. Bottles can crack. Of particular concern are glass bottles that can crack/shatter under pressure, sending glass shards flying through the air. So it’s good to know the working pressure capacity of a bottle prior to pressurizing it. Too bad most bottle makers do not make that information available to the general public. It is up to you, the individual, to make sure the bottle you choose to pressurize is up to the task. This video shows you how.
