Materials needed
Glass bottle
6ft. Of 8lb. Fireline – leave 6in. Tail
Size 10 beading needle
34 – 6/0 seed beads or 3×4 mm Rondelles
11/0 seed beads – in three colors
2 – split rings
Bead cap – optional
Charm that will fit inside bottle
20g wire – cut 2 inches
Tools
Round nose pliers
Chain nose pliers
Wire cutters
Pokey tool
Ruler
This bottle pendant can be hung many different ways. You can attach it to a chain or make a beaded strand of seed beads. You can use other beads that match the colors or theme of bottle. You can also do a beaded strand with chain like my owl pendant.
If you have any mistakes with E-6000 glue like me, while the glue is still wet, use rubbing alcohol and Q tips to clean up the mistakes.
I bought my bottles from hobby lobby. They were $4.00 for an 8 pack the size – 1.75 inch (4.4cm) bottle is 1 1/2 without cork. If you don’t have a hobby lobby in your area you can buy them at Micheal’s. I discovered that Micheal’s sells the same bottles made by bead landing. I believe it was an 8 pack for $15.00. You can use Micheal’s weekly coupon to save money if you decide to purchase from them. Micheal’s also sells gemstone chips in the same bottles for $11.00 dollars. Another place I have found the bottles is on amazon they are much cheaper. Check out my link.

I purchased the owl beads, seahorse and fairy from Limabeads. The Czech druk dalmatian beads that I used as eggs can also be found on limabeads. The lamp work mushroom bead is from Joann’s fabric, it may also be available at other craft stores.
All of the antique brass beads and chain used in the owl necklace is from Walmart. Check the dollar bead bins.
I bought the gold chain that I used in the captured fairy bottle from Micheal’s.
