Antique 19th Century rare Georgian Solid Silver & Cut Glass Warwick Cruet set, cinquefoil frame featuring a central scroll handle fitted with three Rococo style embossed casters and two cut glass bottles with silver lids. On four shell shaped feet, a Rococo cartouche is soldered between the guard rings and base for engraving a crest. Such sets are known as “Warwick” after a fine 18th Century example that was once in the collection Warwick Castle, Warwickshire. This is a rare and complete early example, Each part except for glass bottles caps is fully Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, year 1760 (E), Maker’s mark I.D (John Delmester). As often the case the glass bottles caps are not hallmarked, but are surely originals.
