Stan over at Bar Z Industrial (link below) is having an open-house next weekend. I won’t be going to the open-house, but I figured it would be cool to make him a bottle cap bottle opener so he could give it away.
I recorded this short video to show it to him, but I decided to make it public since I haven’t posted any videos of completed caps yet.
This was powder coated with Eastwood’s “Silver Vein” powder (link below) , engraved, and then clear coated with Prismatic Powder’s “Vision Clear” powder (link below as well). I think it came out looking pretty good!

(I’ve been using their “Dual Voltage” powder coating gun. It seems to work fine, but all the people on powder coating forums say the semi-pro and professional guns work much better. It’s just hard to justify the 10x – 30x expense!)

(If you decide to order from them, I highly recommend picking up one of their metal clears (like “Transparent Copper”) while you’re at it. So far I’ve only used the copper, but it’s an awesome color so I’m guessing the other metal colors would look good too.)
